LL age 15

Little League Age 15

At 15, players move into 16U (Senior League) — a full-size adult diamond, 90ft bases and a 60ft 6in pitching distance, the same dimensions used in college and professional baseball.

New to the game?

16U is where every player at this age plays.

Playing up a year

Female players may also choose to play 14U instead, at their own preference.

The All-Stars pathway

At Little League age 15, players are eligible to trial for the 16U (Senior) All-Stars — and unlike the younger grades, there’s no minimum number of regular-season games required to be eligible. The pathway runs through three stages: win the New Zealand District to become New Zealand Little League, win the Asia-Pacific & Middle East Regional to become Asia-Pacific Little League, then head to the Little League World Series itself. The Regional has recently been hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia.
