Auckland Grade Age 17
Once players move past Little League age, Auckland Baseball offers its equivalent of “high school baseball” from other countries in 19U (Big League) — a full adult diamond, played alongside 17-19 year olds.
Where should they play?
19U is where every player at this age plays.
Playing up a year
Female players may also choose to play 16U instead, at their own preference.
Little League’s All-Stars pathway tops out at 16U, so it doesn’t extend to this age group — but 19U is where Auckland’s next generation of Premier League and Reserves players is built.
