Our junior baseball teams have completed their competition season and we now move into the playoffs and finals over the next two weekends.
Games have been scheduled in the following grades for this Saturday 20th March:
U13s Playoffs - Fearon Park
Semi 1 - 11:30am CC Braves vs HP Blue Jays - Fearon Park
Semi 2 - 2:00pm CC Phillies vs BW Cardinals - Fearon Park
U13 Playoff for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th
11:30am NS Rays vs HP Angels at North Shore (Albany)
11:30am HP Tigers vs BW Elephants at Howick-Pakuranga #3
U15s Playoffs
10:00 HP Tigers vs HP Angels at Howick-Pakuranga #2
U17s Playoffs

The higher ranking team in each case to have home ground advantage and be the home team.
T-ball and Under 11 are being organised by grade coaches so they finish off the season with some fun games.
Premiers Finals - HP Sky Rangers Win

The ABA Premier Summer season finals were held on Sunday 21st Feb at Lloyd Elsmore Park.
The playoff for 3rd between the Angels and HP Cyclones was played at 10am, with the HP Cyclones taking the win and 3rd place overall.
The final saw West City against the HP Sky Rangers. HP Sky Rangers won the game in 7 innings and won the summer series championship.
Auckland Little League off to Indonesia

The Auckland U13 Little League Team has been chosen to represent New Zealand at the Little League Asia-Pacific Regional Qualifying Tournament in Indonesia from the 8th - 15th July 2010. Auckland was scheduled to play off against the team from Northland on the 6th and 7th of February, unfortunately the Northland team pulled out of the tournament.
John Fellet the Little League District Administrator confirmed to the Auckland League, the right to represent New Zealand at this Tournament on the 30th December 2009.

The Auckland Baseball Association would like to congratulate the following players who have been selected to represent Auckland in the Little League Play offs, against Northland over Waitangi weekend.

The Coaches were very pleased with the attendance and effort put in by all players and could not have asked for more.
At this time the Coaches have chosen 13 players, though there is a maximum of 14 players that can travel and they reserve the right to add to the team if they feel a player from the Auckland League should stand out in the early part of the second half of the season.
Thanks goes out to the club coaches that assisted on the day and to the parents that made it possible for the players to attend the trials.
